Every year, during the Holy Week, Catholics in Mexico observe the death of Jesus Christ through the reenactment of his death.  The spectacle of  Jesus' death is seen throughout the nation in the form of street processions and other traditional practices.  In Iztalapa, thousands of people commemorate Jesus' death by a reenactment of his crucifixion.
